A voice of reason cries out of the political wilderness. Senator Chuck Hagel, a second term Republican Senator from Nebraska has dared to point out Mr. Bush’s war policy in Iraq, has no clothes!
Senator Hagel, in a TV interview on This Week on ABC points out that the U.S. led war in Iraq, has destabilized the Middle East, and that it is begining more and more to look like Vietnam. Of course, Senator Hegal served in Vietnam, and won two purple hearts along with other military honors for his service there. Nevertheless, we can expect more of the same from Mr. Bush, who guarded Texas from Arkansas (part time) during the Vietnam war era. If we don’t fight the terrorists over there, we’ll fight them over here. One can only hope Senator Hagel, will now continue to speak out against this outrageous war, and persuade some of his colleagues to end this madnesses, and bring our young men and women home where they belong.
The Huffington Post has some great comments in her post on this. The caveat of course, is we all know whta happened to the last Vietnam war, purple heart, vetran who dared cross Mr. Bush on this war. Can’t wait to see the Swift Boat vets response.
Hi Guy,
I saw your link on feministmormonhousewives, and I was wondering if you could help me out with my blog. I have the same exact template as you, but I can’t figure out how to list my favorite blogs over to the left like you did. How did you do that? I’ve looked at the settings over and over again and can’t find the place for it. If you could help me out I would appreciate it! (my email is carolinekline@aol.com) Thanks!
Also, I agree with your assessment of the cowardly GWB.
Hi Caroline, Thanks for stopping by. I’ve sent you a private email to your address about the links question. I hope it makes sense. If not, let me know.
Wohoo!! Thanks, your advice worked. It looks great.
Hagel is do nothing more trading on this country’s fixation on Vietnam to make political hay (or he’s having flashbacks). He’s just the most rabid of the Republican rats deserting the ship.
